fun-balanced-breakfast-sq-400Good morning! 👋 Dr. Kelly here. It is back to school time and how do we support our kids naturally?

Lets start with a good nights sleep.

Electronics off, Start to relax, cool room.

If needed, you can add a diffuser with essential oils.

  • 20 drops each of lavender, frankincense, cedarwood and bergamot essential oil

You can use blue light filtering glasses at night.

Air purifier in the bedroom can remove the allergens in the air, creating a cleaner environment for your child.
I get asked about kids and seasonal allergies. Ortho Molecular has a great kid friendly option. 👃

D-Hist Jr. is a great-tasting, chewable tablet that includes a targeted blend of flavonoids, antioxidants, proteolytic enzymes and botanicals designed to provide comprehensive support for children with seasonal challenges caused by common environmental allergens. D-Hist Jr. includes quercetin, a powerful flavonoid to support healthy histamine levels. It supplies bromelain to enhance the absorption of quercetin and to support mucosal tissue health and stinging nettles leaf to balance hyper-immune response. N-acetyl cysteine clears the airways by promoting normal viscosity of mucus. This unique nutritional combination safely promotes healthy nasal and sinus passages for children with elevated histamine and respiratory irritation.

On to breakfast:

Food testing rules out any sensitives and opens your options.

I recommend protein with some carbs.

This could be some eggs with a veggie & toast. Or oatmeal with some fruit.

A smoothie is a healthy option if you watch what you put in it.

All fruit is yummy but can be too much sugar. Make sure you add some protein.

This could be whey or a pea protein.

I like green shakes. It is easy and quick.

Most important is an ADJUSTMENT. I am a certified Pediatric Chiropractic Physician. 🥇🩺

I adjust kids as early as 1 hour old.

The adjustment looks a lot different than what you as an adult get. It is very gentle pressure.

Remember, your brain and nervous system controls and coordinates your entire body keeping you healthy.

Supporting your nervous system with an adjustment gives you a leg up in the world. 🦵

Parents and Grandparents, if you have any questions, text us KIDS or respond to this email if you would like me to help your child or grandchild. Or better yet, ask me on your next visit.
